A number of refugees told the website that their deportation to  Syria  has become a nightmare that threatens their lives.

They likened their return to their country, in this way, to suicide .

Hundreds of people from  Denmark  , some of them from Damascus, and others from various regions.

Refugees threatened with deportation launched  distress calls through the site, in which they appealed

International organizations and bodies specialized in refugee issues, to intervene in  Denmark  to prevent

deport them.

One of the refugees stated that  Denmark  refused to renew his residency in 2021, eight years after he arrived in its lands, illegally, and two years after his arrival, his family joined him, but this did not satisfy him, and the threat of deportation still exists.

A Syrian refugee told Al-Monitor that she received a deportation order, at a time when her husband did not receive a similar decision, even though she is pregnant and resides with all her family members in  Denmark , noting that her hometown in  Syria  is not safe.

The number of Syrian refugees in  Denmark  is approximately 19,700, according to statistics issued by the United Nations, but the  authorities ’ adoption of the  deportation decision and the consideration of some areas of  Syria as  safe, in the past years, has become disturbing their lives.
